Does the display use batteries?
You provide no clue to what the item is, but all displays use batteries, 12 volts or mains power.

TR8550 Touch screen not working
I suggest you try the following steps:
Restart your printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on again.
Check the power source: Ensure that your printer is connected to a working power source. If it's connected to a power strip, try plugging it directly into a wall outlet.
Reset your printer: If the touch screen still doesn't work, try resetting your printer to its factory settings. You can do this by following the instructions provided in the user manual or by contacting Canon customer support.
Contact Canon customer support: If none of the above steps work, contact Canon customer support for further assistance.
