we have the same problem... try removing the knob, ours works fine without the knobs ????

is the thermocouple phial in the correct part of the flame?

Baumatic GECE6005 manual page 18To disable the safety lock feature, you should press the safety lock button for a couple of seconds. The "L0" symbol will disappear from the timer display and you are then able to use the hob in normal operation.

Take the switch buttons off and use a hairdryer to blow dirt out and dry up any damp. Also make sure buttons go up and down cleanly.

Make sure the isolator supplies power to your coocktop. Check you fuse behind your oven. Check connections.
