My Bauknecht GSF 6550 dishwasher
It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect. The error indication can be a short in the circuit, check the heater circuit and the pump motor.
Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Hello
Fault with water fill (only on machines with level-controlled fill)
1. Disconnect the power to the unit
2. Remove the lower access panels and check the tray under the dishwasher (you will probably find it is full of water)
3. Use a towel or a sponge to remove the water
4. There is a float that should stop the operation of the dishwasher and run the pump if water is in this tray. Check this pump to see if it is functional
5. Test the dishwasher
6. If there are no leaks from the dishwasher into the pan, check the drain hose under the sink
7. THE DRAIN HOSE MUST RUN UP TO THE TOP OF THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COUNTERTOP THEN DOWN TO THE DRAIN. (If the hose is not set up like this, water from the sink drain will flow into the dishwasher and overfill the tray
*Faults may vary by model. Use this as a general guide.

Hi, you have a short in the unit take the outer door panel off and look at the door switch and the were connections to the control for a burnt connection.
There are too many items that rely on the same circuit. You will have to get an electrician in to fix this. In the mean time, make sure everything else that is used by that circuit is turned off when you use the dishwasher

The START indicator lamp flashes
In this case, I would try unplugging it (or shutting the circuit breaker off) for about 5 minutes. Then turn it back on to see if the washer panel now functions normally.
I hope this helps your washer get its brains back! :)

My Bauknecht GSI 5033 stop
I am assuming by now you would have tried to turn the power to the dishwasher off and back on.
If that did not help, there could be a number of reasons.
Faulty Start button, thermal fuse blown, inlet water valve faulty, controller faulty.
Does the flashing change if you keep the START button pressed for 5-6 secs?

Hello everybody,
I hope that
Possible the inlet valve has given up and is not allowing water in.
Also possible there is a slight leak enough to shut the water off (safety feature) - Check underneath for a float mechanism and any water there.

The green light indicator on
Trip the breaker again. While power is off, dry all the water, if any from the bottom of the tub.
Remove drain well from inside the tub and clean it.
Access the back of the appliance and check inlet and drain hose for restriction or blockage.
If that does not fix the problem, then there is a fault. Parts must be accessed and tested to find the problem. Testing is done on door latch, inlet valve, pressure switch, overfill switch, and heating/dryness system, if present in this model.
If the light is still blinking after doing the maintenance mentioned above, call the service number listed in the owners manual.

Hi,I have the Bauknecht dishwasher
The Bauknecht dishwashers are made by Whirlpool. The common reason for F4 is the flood switch at the bottom of dishwasher is activated.
This could happen due to too much suds in the dishwasher detergent.
If this is the case then change the detergent to what is recommended by manufacturer. You will have to turn the power off and turn water connection off. Then tilt the dishwasher a few times on the side and start again.
If you don't believe the suds is an issue, then check if the flood switch at the base of dishwasher is not stuck. It is a float which should move up and down if you press it.
Hope this helps.

Dishwasher stops after a couple of minutes and F4
the F4 problem in the Dishwasher is common, and the solution is often to replace the Water Indicator unit. This is because the light-action microswitch attached to the unit often loses its spring.
Replacement is HERE if required.
Also, dismantle the sensor unit to get all the "gunk" out. There can be a carpet of white goo covering the rubber diaphragm, get the thing out of the machine though the front bottom inspection cover.
I have a GSXP7988 Bauknecht
