Check your main fuse block under the hood. Chance are you have quite a few blown fuses. If not then you will probably be looking at an ECU issue

any generic replacement CMOS battery with the same specifications and size measurement as the original battery will do, I am not to familiar with the battery used on your laptop, for it may be installed with retaining clips, it may be soldered to the main board, or via sockets with wires, if you are not to savvy with electronics soldering , have someone who knows how , to do it for you. Replacing cmos battery is actually easy once you have secured the replacement part. refer to your computer manual for the location of the cmos battery on your laptop.

Remove battery from laptop model no battery is normally found on inside section of battery ,alternatively look up battery for thinkpad ege 0578 pcy in google or ebay

Hello there. With age (could be only a year old) ; laptop batteries stop 'holding' their charge and will drain very quickly. I am afraid the only sure answer is to buy a new one or similar one that will fit your laptop, and FOLLOW the INITIAL CHARGE instructions that should come with it. If it is not done properly, the battery will not have a long life.

Ok if this is the same as 300M, Chrysler LHS the battery is on the left side of engine compartment some of them are in the fender area of the wheel well and very difficult to reach, sometimes the tire has to be removed and wheel well area loosened and on other Intrepids the battery is under the air breather box, you just remove the large air intake hose and air filter box as the battery is located just under that area. this one seems to be located on the passenger front just behind the headlight.

OMG DON'T TOUCH CHINESE BATTERIES!! Generally they just recycle old ones and stuff them into new cases! I've learned this from 2 costly experiences where 'new' chinese batteries have lasted about 2 months before dying. If you want cheap, reliable ones hunt around on ebay for ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER (HP Label) , SECOND HAND ones with guaranteed minimum life of say 1.5 hours. Good Luck.

99% charge is still pretty good so I'm not sure whether the HP health check is accurate. The only way to check is to unplug the mains voltage and see how long the laptop goes until it shuts down. This will help REFORM the battery to a degree and MAY restore your missing 1% of charge capacity. If the battery lasts more than 1.5 hours it's still pretty useable - why spend? Also if you do decide to buy a brand new battery and the old one lasts the best part of an hour you could keep it as a backup. Good luck.

This appears not to be an OEM (HP/Compaq) battery. These are not reliable in my experience ESPECIALLY if they are originally manufactured in China from old recycled batteries with a NEW case. Such unlabelled batteries rarely last more than a few months. It would be better buying a guaranteed compaq battery from an eBay which is second hand but holds say 1.5 hours of charge. It will cost much less than a new OEM battery if you hunt around and you have the protection from paypal/ebay of reimbursement if anything goes wrong. 10.8 volts is correct for a cq71 and the shape is correct. When you charge it up, run the laptop on battery only and complain if it lasts less than 2 hours. Good Luck
