The model number for your cordless phone is on a small sticker underneath the battery inside the handset. Entering this number at www.manualslib.com will allow you to get a free copy of the original owners' manual. Good luck!

Look online for a user manual, or check the menu on the phone to see if there is an option to delete, or not show, missed calls.

Delete some or all your old unneeded messages. The memory is full. That is why it won't record now... there's no room.

Most likely that it is the speaker on the handheld part of the phone. Your sound comes from the base itself when you put your current connection on Speaker-Call. So if you cannot hear the dial tone OR the person on the other end unless on "speaker" it's just the handheld and I believe there are places online you can purchase JUST that part if needed.

It appears that the one handset has become orphaned and must be de-registered and then re-registered. 1. To de-register the orphaned handset from the old base: When the orphaned handset says "Connecting..." or "Out of..." enter *331734 [menu] and it will soon beep and display "Not registered" 2. To register the new handset to your base: press the "Handset Locator" button on the base and hold it until the "in use" light comes on ( ~ 4 seconds ), then release the button and set the new handset into the base phone cradle. After ~ 30 seconds it will beep and display "Handset #" (next in sequence). 3: Note: the base handles a maximum of 12 handsets. If your system was fully populated ( ie, a handset is already # 12 ) you will have to clear all the handsets from the base and re-register them all in sequence. ( it is the only way to 'rescue' the places occupied by the lost handsets ). To clear the base of all registrations: 1. Press and hold the the "Handset Locator" button until the "in use" light lights and then starts to blink ( ~ 10 seconds ), release the button -- then press it again briefly while the "in use" light is still blinking. 2. The base will beep and all handsets that were registered will display "Not Registered" 3. Follow the instructions above for each handset in turn to re-register them: press "Handset Locator" ~ 4sec ( in-use light on ), set handset into the base cradle, etc. The manual is available from: www.manualslib.com but does not fully describe these procedures. Replace the jumper cable between the wall jack and the phone. You've probably installed a "roll over" cable by accident.

You are not properly connected to a live telephone line.

Did you google the model number of your phone, the manufacturer, and the error code DECT 6?

Your phones charging port may be broke. Or likewise the charger dock maybe malfunctioning.

Check your phone wiring in the wall socket is ok

Sounds like your phone or line is now short circuit and is holding the line so it appears busy to incoming callers. Try disconnecting the pnone and line right up to the incoming point of your house to find the problem.

Go to menu and work through the options, it's in there somewhere. Alternatively, check the user manual and do the same. If you don't have one, Google the make and model number and look for user manual downloads.

Defective landline. It's not the carrier so it the landline. Get a new one. You can get em for $20

If you unplug it from the phone jack and remove the batteries or power cord and leave it off for a few days it should go back to default settings.

If it's a wired phone change the handset cord. That is the most common problem
