Try these... -Clean out the drain pump inside and below.
- Pull the suction boot off the drain pump, clean out any gookus.
- Blow through the drain hose starting from the connection at the pump.
make sure it is not clogged follow the line from under the sink and disonnect it from under the sink and make sure it is clear
- If all else checks out, replace the pump.
The Duet hides the pump/filter access behind the lower panel. Most LG, Miele and ASKO washers have it right up front for easy access. I guess keeping such a base element out of view helps sales.
Long Drain error code.
If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.
Press, PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the "F2 error code" will be displayed.
Potential Causes:(1) Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
(2) Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
(3) Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
If the above does not correct the problem replace the pump
Does the W6222 filter have gauze, mesh or some
that is basically what it does
stops coins buttons bra wires etc
most washing machines have a section in the pipe before the pump where the hose comes out a few inches above the bottom and this is like a trap where objects fall and are retained
as most machines are difficult to get to the hose or pump , having a filter there is a bit impracticable as you would be cleaning it every other wash
if your machnie doesn't have an end trap arrangement you could improvise such a unit using a "T" section of plastic pipe with the hose on one end , a cap on the other and the hose to the pump from the middle
Hello all,
I've been using fixya as a great resource to fix many things over the years, but I'm currently stumped.
I have an Asko D3112 dishwasher that worked flawlessly for over 10 years, until recently. I woke up one morning to the dishwasher still running from the night before. After reading up on the problem, I thought I would be lucky enough to tilt the unit back, emptying the water in the pan, and having it operate back to normal - no such luck. Upon the filling cycle, the tub overflows and the excess leaks to bottom pan until the overflow kicks in. I've basically dissasembled the entire dishwasher to figure out the problem to no avail. I confirmed that nothing is blocking the pump motor, removed all hoses and made sure they were clear, etc. Before I send it to the landfill, does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a way to adjust the water level, or is this done electronically by the water inlet valve?
I started my machine, an hour later I went back
Replacing the control panel should be the LAST thing you attempt!
Go back to basics first - does the machine empty when you turn it on? have you removed the water in the machine by lowering the waste hose onto the floor or removing the drain filter? do the program indicators light up?is water flowing through the fill hose / hoses? Are any fault codes showing? If you replaced the fuse, did it blow again? Have you any means of testing electrical Insulation / Earth continuity? Have you tried plugging something else into the washing machine socket - say a kettle or heater etc?
It well may be the Electrical Control Board in the end, BUT if you fit a new board onto a faulty part - say a blown heater - you will probably blow the new board as well, and the shop won't take it back for this reason.
Asko WL6532XXl error code LE
Yup, LE is the door latch. Seems like at some point the solenoid gets too weak to push the switch that tells the washer the latch is really closed and it cuts power to the latch and won't operate. The door latch is fairly easy to repair. I've done it twice and I'm just an intermediate DIYer. The latches seem to fail every 3-4 years. You pull the rubber ring and the metal ring from around the door, then undo those two screws you can see around the latch. Then unplug. Then reverse. Unlike many instruction videos for other ASKO models, you do not need to pull the front panel off to do this. Just the rubber ring and huge retaining ring that holds it in place. The confusion right now is finding the parts because no one SEEMS to have them in stock, but they are easy to get, if you don't bother with google to find them, because you won't find them there. Sub Zero has exclusive rights to distribute Asko parts in the US now. So you have to go through them. If you use google you will find "out of stock" and "discontinued" on the listings of everyone else who used to be allowed to sell them. The official distributors aren't google friendly, I guess. If you are in New England, you can get parts from Certified Appliance Parts if you are in the Mid Atlantic you have to go through Mid-Atlantic Parts Distributors. If you are elsewhere, search for "sub zero parts" and your state. The right place should come up.You need ASKO item #3619046410 Door latch It cost me $43.
