you have a leaking pressure relief valve. You need to replace it.

You can try to bypass this for a while so you can be sure if it is still ok

Hi Jane, Water pressure can be effected by blockage in the group or pump or if the coffee is too fine or too much coffee was used. Try without the portafilter to see if water comes out- if it splutters or only steams comes out -try descaling. Hi, Steam leaking from the group when the steam function is turned on: This is normal - as there is a spring valve which stops the steam escaping normally, however if you are not using the steam wand - steam has to escape somewhere and is vented through the group. It will not affect the steaming - but you are better to make coffee 1st and then steam the milk. The new Dreams have endless steam - which is great for larger groups over for dinner .. Sounds like a leak in one of the internal pipes. Please return it to the retailer for warranty.

If the teflon tube has extra lenght, you just have to cut the flared end and connect it again

It does sound like the pump. If it isn't sucking any water up and it is very noisy then it is def the pump. I can get these for you if you are still looking.

maybe sometimes you forget to turn off the steam switch which increases the temperature. for the info. this is a thermoblock type of group. also the hot water and steam shares the same wand.

which of the two thermodisc is busted? there are two values. 100 deg and 140 deg. use a wrench and rotate the body similar like screw

You may have a clogged nozzle. See if you can unclog it with a very fine wire. Check your manual for this condition since it is a common one.
