If there are no lights, check the fuse in the plug. If the machine comes on but the drum does not move, the motor control circuit board probably has a burnt connection or bad joint. This may also be the cause of the fuse blowing.

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to detect any operating anomalies. These anomalies are reported by one or two wash cycle indicator lights "G" flashing rapidly. In this case could be:

Sounds like a faulty solenoid valve. Does the water over flow the door and run out onto the floor? The other possibility is that the electronics could be faulty energizing the coil when the machine is off but this is not likely. Do you turn the valves off at the source when you are not using the machine? This would be a simple fix versus going into the machine to find out if the coil is energized or to replace the solenoid valve.

If the appliance is correct any defect wouldn't have happened regardless of whether it is an electro-mechanical or new generation of electronic appliance. Some electronic models sometimes need to clear the memory error "Doesn't take water." Dado

H2O means the applionce isnt getting enugh water but it sounds to me like youre waste hose is to far down your stand pipe it should be in no more than 4 inches and also make sure you are connected to the cold feed not the hot.

We had the same problem when our cleaner rubbed off the markings. Ariston "customer services" were very unhelpful (the model is now so old they don't offer any replacement facias for it) but managed to get replacement stickers from Mark at http://www.ovenlettering.co.uk/. They come with a diagram for all four dials showing where they should go and are very easy to apply. Would highly recommend.

take the top off,remove the soap bucket,take the screws off on the pc board/front cover. the top screws of the front pannel are usualy behind the display cover. the botom screws are behind the bottom plastic cover which you have to prey off with a screwdriver from the top side.

I can tell you about a Company which supplies the Public and Appliance repairmen. That Company is Servall. It may be hyphenated, like Serv-All or similar. They may have Manuals. They know what they sell and may be able to tell you what they sell a lot of. Another place is often on the Radio, "The Appliance Doctor" which may be on the Web too. I want to say the Founder is Bill Gagnon; I think his son may be doing it now. They may have an E-mail. You are lucky to have a second unit to get test parts from. Probably good idea is to put your Control head into the second machine and see if it malfunctions in the test unit. Then you would know if it is the Control head or something still in your "Box". If I read this problem correctly, that the Fabric softener is not being released, then maybe the solenoid that releases the softener is bad and responsible for the error.

I managed to resolve that problem. When you have BOTH F53 and F03 error codes, it's not a sensor fault (although F03 is the big cavity sensor and F53 is the top one)... it's a faulty capacitor trouble. On the main board there are 4 electrolytic capacitors, just replace all of them and you're ok again. It's quite simple and very cheap. :-)
