I have a 2007 atv frame with a block that says ac50. The piston head says khm-7r it is shaft driven with low high and reverse tranny. But it has 06 artic Cat plastic on it could anyone help me on what type and size of motor she has and is there a rev limiter on her she only goes about 30 mph. How can I make her quicker.

code p 500 refers to vehicle speed sensor(VSS)--circuit malfunction===causes ---wiring--VSS---ECM check wiring
replace VSS

Make sure it is not stuck. Spray some cleaner into the throttle. Make sure the cable is returning all the way.

try using it for awhile as is , sometimes use will free up the stuck gearbox

coil you can test if you have a coil tester but doubt you do. CDI cant be tested. could also be a pick up coil on the stator, ignition switch, kill switch, tether if it has one.

The top is usually just clipped on in several places

Sounds like it was starving for fuel. First thing to do is check your fuel pump pressure with a gauge. Try sprayinf a little starting fluid into the throttle body to see if it will start. If it does, then you know its a fuel problem.

remove 2 bolts and cable from battery and pull out. will be stuck prolly have to pry on it a little. i will slide out eventually. good luck . can be difficult

yes i believe so. unless you are a good tech w/tools it is a job i wouldnt try to be honest. take to a qualified shop. save youself the headache thats sure to follow. be prepared to shell out some serious cash also. good luk.
