I have a windows 7

When an application/program is installed, Windows does more than create a new folder on the hard drive. It also writes data about the program to a 'registry', that keeps track of many system settings, including installed programs. Your best bet at fixing this problem would be as follows:

- Download Ccleaner from here: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/portable Extract the .zip file and run 'ccleaner.exe'. Navigate to the 'registry' tab, and click 'Scan for Issues'. A list of potential problems with the registry will be generated. One of the things this will look for is any registry entries that link to folders that do not exist (like the one you deleted). After the scan has finished, click "Fix selected issues..." If you are prompted to back up the registry, you may do so, but it is not necessary. Restart the computer and try to install AutoTune.

- If that did not work, open the control panel (Start -> Control Panel, or type 'control panel' in the start menu search box) and navigate to 'Add/Remove Programs'. After the list has populated, look for your AutoTune program in the list. Select it, and you will see an option for 'uninstall'. Try to uninstall it. If you get a message saying that the program cannot be found, and you are asked to remove it from the list, say 'yes'. Reboot and try to install AutoTune.

- If you still cannot install AutoTune, download and install Revo Uninstaller, found here: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/Revo-Uninstaller-Download-74235.html This will deeply scan your system for any programs that are installed or that have left remnants of themselves behind. Try to uninstall AutoTune from Revo Uninstaller, reboot, and try to install AutoTune.

Blue screen of death when

Obviously, this program is causing a conflict with whatever OS you are using. Try updating your OS and install new service packs, or, if that fails, upgrade your OS altogether.

Sorry, but nobody on FIXYA is allowed to help you become a 'SOFTWARE PIRATE',
i.e., to get software without purchasing a legal copy.

Not able to get my auto tune installed right

Hi, are you using Pro Tools as a host? This may happen if you have old and/or incompatible plug-ins in the Plug-ins folder. In one case, older versions of D-Fi and Maxim caused the error message. The first step is to move your entire Plug-ins folder to the desktop (or to the Plug-ins Unused folder) and relaunch Pro Tools. The Digidesign Plug-ins folder is located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE. If that works, then you need to go through your Plug-ins folder and determine which plug-ins are old or incompatible and either update them or remove them.

If that doesn't work, then it is best to remove Pro Tools and all PACE files completely, then reinstall Pro Tools.
