I have reworked the entire mechanical parts of this Intelliseat, and HAVE FIXED THE EXTENDED RINSE PROBLEM. SEE PICS and read the comments on the pictures. Please note that on the large pic of the whole thing, my comments therein were written while troubleshooting and should not be taken literally....just use them on that pic for general reference. DO NOT use vaseline on either rubber gasket in the block. DO USE LIGHT vaseline on the face of the RESURFACED STEPPER RUBBER GASKET. IMPORTANT, BE VERY CAREFUL when reinstalling the electronics COVER and make sure the water supply hose to the extender is not caught on the inside structure of the upper housing.....if you do not verify this, it will be WRONG naturally.THE FIX that worked for me was to disassemble the solenoid / pressure reducer block and using a tooth brush and hand soap, scrub both sides of the two rubber gaskets inside.....see pics. At the same time I also RESURFACED the rubber gasket inside the STEPPER MOTOR which controls water flow to the arm extender.....see pics. After reassembly, works a treat, just like new. I bought this in 2011 and it still works GREAT. If you need a new remote, forget the $29 ones, you can get one from China for $3! Mine has never had any problems.
The Intelliseat ISB-200 unit is made by a Korean company IZEN and they sell a unit that looks very much like the AMDM unit. The web site address is: http://www.izenbidet.com/. I do not know if they will sell parts but give them a try. Attached photos of the unit they sell. As you can see the unit looks very similar to the Intelliseat unit and I would not be surprised if the cover and remote unit are the same. Its worth contracting them. Good Luck !!
if the seat is cracked then the element is probably broken at the crack site
check for circuit continuity of the element or buy a new seat
can't be too hygienic or comfortable sitting on a cracked seat
My remote worked but the blower would not respond. If that's the issue, take the label off the remote (the corner by the heater button) and put a piece of aluminum tape over the contacts so there is a better connection. I also got a new one from AMDM (under warranty then) but I am still using the first remote I fixed. AMDM customer service: 1-800-778-1450
