My daughter had same issue with her Aiwa car radio. removing and replacing the radio power fuse made it happy and it has been so for nearly a year.
We have an Aiwa clock
On a 24-hour clock, 8 AM is 0800. 2000 is 8 PM.
Obviously, you have managed to set the clock with an offset of 12 hours or have the wrong time zone. Some systems may use Universal Time (UTC) with the 24 hour clock. To find a local time in the military time, you add 12 to the hour for any time after noon. Thus 2 PM = 1400 and 4 PM = 1600. To convert from UTC, try this converter:

Clock gains 5 minutes or more time over 30-45 days
Could be low-grade electronic components used, less than 1% tolerance values, or the crystal time-base, a precise clock-pulse generator, needs calibration.
Recommend to get it checked by electronics wizard.
