All U can do is cry - no warranty and not cost effective to repair the DOA. Tough break.

sounds like you may have a bad switch. if you have a multimeter you can check to see if a switch is reading less then a few megaohms. if one is reading a few kilo ohms, it is probably bad.

I think that's Demo mode.I got stuck there too. This is what worked for me:
- Power the radio off (hold the power button in top left corner in for several seconds)
-
Remove face plate
-
Hold in reset 10 seconds
-
Press push-menu dial/button 3 or 4 times
-
Insert cd and hit source to switch to tuner before cd starts
Not all of these steps may be necessary.I suspect having the power off before the reset button was the important part.

Fuse for the ash tray for the crysler 300
Fuse #9 feeds the power outlet and fuse #18 feeds the lighter outlet (this is the one I believe your having trouble with).
They are both located in the fuse box in the trunk, next to the battery. If you open the trunk and lift the floor up you'll see them hiding under there. The numbers should be called out on the cover for the fuse box.

Check BOTH of your power connections and your ground too. Make sure you actually have 12v at each connection and don't have a blown fuse etc. If you are lucky then you will solve the problem. Good luck.
