What controller are you using? You are correct - it is an IOS error. Usually the AP is not compatible with the WLC ios.

Sounds like the network connection to the AP is shot. Try a different cable, different port on the switch, or repower the device.

Maunal above, usually, at the rear is a small hole, you insert something into the hole and push the button, with the power removed. This resets the router, and next time you try to login, it will be at the default, login, and Password, ALL settings will be returned to as it was when first used.

Check ticket from harddisk, then it should run.

Sounds like corrupt firmware. If you can get to a page to update firmware, download the latest and go for it. If not, try reset again. If still ng, contact manufacturer or purchase a new AP.

run wireshark,  if you see it trying to access 10.0.0.1 via TFTP, IOS was wiped,  just set a tftp server on that address and it will download the dfault image.  search cisco to find out the name of the file it is looking for, or look through the wireshark packets
