I'm not certain you need to, but I would download and install SP3. I can remember that the sata drivers are included in one of these two service packs and I thinks it's SP3. Also check that your connecting cable is ok too.

The power adaptor model ys-1015-k12 or my snapscan

Two choices

One buy one from Agfa by visiting thier website and checking out the support section.

Two check the lable on the printer or the manual which will tell you how many volts and how many Amps / milliamps it needs to run. Armed with that information go to almost any electrical store large supermarket and check out the multi voltage adaptors (ask in the store for help but results may vary from knowledgable to moron) buy one with at least the same Current or more if its 500 mA and they have one at 750 mA I would take that one. go home and plug it in checking that you have the correct end ( they come with a good selection) also check if it needs centre positive or negative (usually centre positive) and set your new adaptor to suit. It may have a small switch that does it for you or yo may have to change a the way the and connects as they are sometimes reversible just for that reason.

I know it sounds a lot to do but it means you can go out and get an adaptor without having to wait for Agfa and you will probably save money too

Is snapscan touch compatable with vista?

This is from AGFA website.
They do not support vista.

Driver for Flatbedscanner22 for OS windows 7

About Agfa Snapscan E25:
Agfa discontinued its DTP scanner product line (SnapScan, DuoScan, Horizon and Arcus range) and digital cameras (ePhoto, ActionCam, StudioCam) at the end of 2001. At this page is the link for downloading the last valid drivers for your scanner, supporting up to winXP. Try, if you are lucky it may work with Win7
About Acer Aspire 3050:
This laptop has no drivers for Win7 (that's what acer says, not me). Here is the last driver for your camera supporting up to Vista.
In my opinion try the latest drivers that I send you, since there is nothing to loose.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Thanks and regards

what you can try doing is this, right click any where on your desktop. goto properties, then goto the settings tab, then click addvanced, then click on color management, depending on your monitor there is recomendations , but if you dont know what it is use a srgb settings any of them will do it. hope this helps.

I need a solution to make my Agfa 1212u scanner

Go to http://www.hamrick.com/ and download the trial of Vuescan. You should find that it works OK. (it's a very versatile piece of software)
In order to use it for real, you'll have to pay the fee - the trail puts a watermark that is nigh-on impossible to circumvent.
As Agfa don't appear to support this scanner any more, you'll have to pay anyway - and Vuescan is cheaper than buying a new scanner.

Drivers for windows 7 ?

Hi There,
Firstly you need to check if the scanner is compatible with windows 7. If not try install drivers for vista. Vista has a built in feature that will ask you if the drivers installed correctly and if not install using correct settings,I think windows 7 has same feature. I cant be ertain that it will work but worth a try...Hope this helps...I also found this, so not sure it may help...

I work with Mac OS (Snow Leopard) and my Mac don't

Snow Leopard has a bunch of drivers built in to control various printers.  If it doesn't recognize the printer, then you will have to go on Agfa's web site to see if they have a printer driver compatible with Snow Leopard.  Keep in mind that Snow Leopard is a new OS and that printer manufacturers will take some time to update their programs and drivers to run on it.  If you don't find a driver then, you got to use a different printer or downgrade your OS to one that will run the printer.
