looks like old xp machine. power supply could be flaky,bad caps on the board,dust build up on the cpu fan or graphics card causing it to over heat and shut down

Check that the speaker cable is plugged into the GREEN ringed "Speaker" jack (for a normal stereo sound set up). Check that the speaker isn't muted in system tray. Right click the speaker in the system tray. Click Volume Control Options and make sure you have the analog Realtek Audio selected - not any HDMI or Digital output. Open "Control Panel" in Windows. Open "Device Manager" found in the "Hardware and Sound" heading. Locate "Sound, Video.." Make sure there is no small icon over it to indicate that there is a problem. If there is, click the triangle to the left and open "Realtek.." Right click it and select properties. First check to make sure the video cable is properly inserted (also make sure that it is in the correct port - some PC's have two video ports - one integrated into the m/b and another added to the slot) Try going into the BIOS to see if the video is working at all (try tapping on the DEL key when starting up) When in the BIOS check to make sure the correct video port has been selected Sometimes some monitors can be reset by unplugging them, holding the power button for 15 seconds and then try powering them up.

Then there is no output from the graphics card. This needs replacing, as there should always be some output, even if it is wrong! Try pressing F8 on start up. There is an option in your router to disable that option. You have to get into the settings for the router you have. Typically you can open up a web browser and type 192.168.2.1 and it should give you a log in window. If you have not set an admin password for the router just leave it blank and hit ok. The drives will usually come with a utility to copy your old drive to the SSD and make the SSD the bootable drive. You just need to have both drives connected at the same time. Check for download instructions in the packaging with the drive or check the manufacturers website.

Hi It sounds as if you have a hardware fault of some description, if this is the only light on. I would have expected a power light and also a hard drive light which would flash when the hard drive was in use. If the light that flashes looks similar to this then this is a light for the network connector. Cheers

Check if the signal cable for the display is connected and whether there is any kink that may break a wire inside the cable. If the circuit for display inside the computer is broken, most of the time you would hear beeping when turning on the computer.

If it is only 7 months old it should still be under warranty. Contact the manufaxcturer.
