Acer N30 PDA charging problem
My PDA n30 is not a year old yet - when I put it to sync and charge everything looks fine but when I unplug it does not stay charged - it blacks out straightaway.
Please help
I forgot my acer n300
Hi,
Unfortunately, you will need to do a HARD_RESET. A hard reset will erase all records and entries stored in your handheld. Never perform a hard reset unless s soft reset does not correct your problem.
SOFT RESET = USING THE TIP OF YOUR STYLUS LIGHTLY PRESS THE RESET BUTTON INSIDE THE HOLE ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR HANHELD.
HARD RESET = WHILE HOLDING THE "TODAY" AND "MESSAGING" BUTTONS (a) USING THE TIP OF YOUR STYLUS LIGHTLY PRESS THE RESET BUTTON INSIDE THE HOLE ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR HANDHELD.
I HOPE THIS HELPS.
Graham.
I have acer n30 pc
This happens when you get new one or after reset. It wants from you, to touch 5 points on the screen to calibrate touch screen.
Start acer without connecting usb cable and calibrate it first.
My cousin gave me his
actually if there is no personal data then reset it through a pin hole reset button given........
ActiveSync isnt compateble withe Windows7
Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer first, then choose "troubleshoot compatiblity". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run. Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D
Connect for email and internet surfing
As far as I know, some N300 series PDAs have a built-in Wi-Fi card. If this is your case, gather your Wi-Fi router's (or the one you want to connect your PDA to) SSID and encryption informations, go to 'Start > Settings > Connections tab > Wi-Fi' and tap 'Search for Networks'. After a while, the available WLAN should appear on screen. Select yours, fill in the required informations, and, after a while it should get connected. Otherwise (i.e., if your PDA is not Wi-Fi enabled), you will still be able to connect to the internet whenever it is connected to your PC (which should be on-line, of course).
Anyway, if you happens to miss your device's user guide, feel free to download it from
this location.
Just my 2 cents...

Carlos
Acer N300
I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset your device. Be warned that your device will return to its factory defaults, and you'll loose everything you have installed, as well as your personal data, but I can't see any other way to solve your current problem. To perform a hard reset, press and hold both the Today and Messaging buttons (at both sides of the D-pad), and, at the same time, briefly press the reset pin (on the botton of the device) with the stylus pen.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers!
Carlos
