4 Select the connection type from the Connect Type drop-down menu. ? Always Connected means that Internet connection to your ISP is always on. ? Auto - Triggered by Traffic means your Router will automatically connect to your ISP every time a PC needs to access the Internet. ? Manual - Start in Disconnected means that after re-booting the Router, the Internet connection will need to be re-established manually by the user. ? Manual - Start in Connected means that after re-booting the Router, it will automatically establish a connection to your ISP.

this sounds like Manual - Start in connected mode will get the ip address and dns settings automatically from the ISP
using adsl on phone line then use pppoe for the protocol

The DCHP server ip address range is 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.254 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway is 192.168.1.1
pppoe protocol allows the ADSL to connect many computers on the one isp global ip address allocated to your line via using different port numbers to translate the computers internal ip address on the dhcp server through the router.

sound like its fails the post.manual says should yellow if it fails, green if it passes. maybe hard reset unplug it from power wait a couple minutes plug back in.
