2wire modem turns off
if its new then you must not have issue with it, if the configuration they gave is already setup and nothing missing, it should be ok.
If the electrical issue is true, then you try to use AVR or other power supply for your modem.
You can also try to plug it in different place and try to connect with it (even without internet) to test if its really the electrical thing causing you this headache.
"Rebooting the modem by itself is not normal" (possible hardware cause).
Otherwise, you should ask for its warranty or replacement.
Hi. i have modem wireless
I assume bell is your old ISP, and primus is your new ISP.
Also i assume your wireless modem is not provided by bell.
If you are getting the login page of your old ISP (bell) it seems your bell LAN cable is still connected to your modem. If you are 100% that only primus is the only connected to your modem.
Try to run disk cleanup and remove all the temporary files in your computer.

Are you using AT&T as a provider? I've had a lot of dealing with their DSL Internet. DSL is not a solid signal for Them. SO they came out with Fiber Optics now that doesn't lose signal If you have a different provider run a speed test online to see if you are getting the speed that you are paying for.

Have SBCglobal with 2wire but want N wireless capability
Follow the dots -
2 wire DSL wire to back of DSL modem.
Ethernet cable out of DSL modem, to current router (if you have one).
Ethernet cable out of current router (if you have one) to new Wireless N router.
If you currently have a wireless G router, keep it, or, use the new Wireless G/N router alone. You will need to set up all security settings again if you remove your current router, and if the new router is N only, you will need to make sure all your wireless connecting computers have wireless N cards in them.
