V18 battery loses charge very quickly getting old... for another $100 you can get a new one. or buy a new drill that uses a ion type batt.

drill has no power It's possible your drill needs a new battery. Even if your battery appears to be charged if it is an older one the batteries lose their power after a while and do not filly charge.
