Cd not recording

in a spindle of blank discs... And sometimes you will get "check disc" or "bad disc" when a blank disc is inserted. I would be sure to use blank discs for audio use, not computer use, with your Yamaha

My Yamaha CDR D651 appears to dislike new 50x maxell CD-r discs saying not audio. Works fine with 12x discs. What's wrong? Rowan
