personally im thinking about complaining to trading standards or BSI...(brittish standards institute) they do not send you a new phone or a replacement model while it gets fixed...hope this helps....

back you are well in your rights for a refund as the goods are faulty dont let them fob you off as this is for the safety of your child ,if they say no or wont exchange threaten with trading standards

!!!! TY Surely you have a right to a refund or exchange if it is faulty. Check with your local Trading Standards or Consumer Protection. Tell the shop you are doing this, they might change their ideas

...buttons and is not fit for purpose so you have to see what coverage your local trading standards say about faulty goods and go from there sorry we have no idea . what you did either wrong or right

...also look into your local trading standards sale of goods protection regulations to see if you can get it fixed or replaced as it sounds as if it is not fit for purpose as being faulty from day ...
