1998 jaguar xjr rear shocks the top mount looks like i may have to remove the rear seat from inside the car. am i missing something ?. Hi The shockers are removed from under the car. Good Luck ! John.

Boot will not lift properly the boot is released by the gas lift shocks,when they go back then the boot wont clear the lever far enough to release it.I would have the gas boot lift shocks replaced.
