everything. a particularly dirty machine run through twice. Just be sure to run clean water through a couple times to rinse any vinegar residue out of the machine. It will be like new again. good luck

may be dirty from coffee residue and needs to be cleaned. The entire assembly turns and lifts out but be careful as the piercing needle is SHARP. After cleaning, try a new k cup and see if it works ok
