quick. -it uses 850 ml of Oil. Any decent 4 stroke oil , Bel Ray 10W-40 Thumper but others are good too. -The drain bolt has a washer. a crush washer.. if the washer is smooshed... get a new one. dont

getting battery out the battery is either under the seat or behind 1 of the plastic covers. and very easy to remove. you will need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. i used to have a suz. 850

cant find dipstick there aint one you have to purchase one. yam 850 owners have the same problem. just go with reccomended levels in manual then make one up yourself from wire.
