PIP is set to may not even be connected to the TV so there would be no sound. The terms and menus used here are from Samsung so they will be different from yours but the concept is the same. Good luck

how do you turn on pip When using PIP on a Samsung TV, the main source you are viewing needs to be Component, HDMI or the PC Source before PIP can be used to view for example a digital cahnnels.
