Lock the mouse cursor change the mouse. if u already did. problem in ps2 port. so use usb mouse and check it is working or not. Set it up by going the control panel.

mouse/touchpad settings is to hookup a regular USB mouse then boot so you wont have to use keyboard shortcuts. Check the settings, turn the touchpad on if it's set to off then disconnect the USB mouse
