Manual Doesn't Work Either! I had the setting exactly as suggested (TAD/Fax) and had the problem. Thought going to manual (I decide when to turn it on for faxing) it would surely correct the Caller ID

Caller I.D. How do you get the caller i.d. to work. The phone network should be offering the ID service first. From user set up function you can enable it. Should be the last item on the menu.
