where is the ge washer motor brake On older models, it is part of the transmission assembly, but on newer models, it is an electrical brake within the motor.

loose agitator, how do you remove it? usually the top of agitators isjust acap, pull it up and off to expose a nut holding down remainder of agitator. hope this helps
