what does mode G3 send error mean? what does this mean "G3 send error mode"? The other fax machine is not G3, which is the latest configuration. Maybe a very old fax machine.

We can send faxes but cannot receive fax. make sure that the receive mode is Fax. Also maybe problem with the line and the ECM is activated stopping the reception
