life has nothing to do with the amount of toner that you have in the cartridges and they need to be changed independantly

change the PCU did you conect the blue plug???? If this is not the case remove the PCU again and if you look deep down you will see a metalic shaft. Clean it and install again the PCU. Hope this helps
