SAMSUNG G600 USB CONNECTION PROBLEM

JUST PURCHASED THE NEW SAMSUNG G600 MOBILE PHONE. HOWEVER THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS VISTA. I HAVE DOWN LOADED THE SOFTWARE, BUT IT CANT FIND THE PHONE WHEN I CONNECT IT TO MY PC. update music for samsung g600

    justr recentely boguht this phone and wanted to put sum decent games on phone onyl to find that vista doesnt work.. so installed the vista one yet it still doesnt work

    when i connection my phone it starts charging but will the laptop says it has not connected!!!!

    I have windows Vista, and the SAMSUNG PC STUDIO disk is just for Windows 2000 and windows XP. When i plug my phone into the computor, the files are there, but the pictures that are in my phone dont appear.

    I have just bought a samsung G600 and as I have a mac it will not isync or recognise the usb port when plugged in.

    yes I'm just trying to store my contacts on my macbook tiger and won't recognise usb either. software supplied only seems to be for windows. can I download any mac software?

    i connect to my mac and it charges but the mac doesnt recognise it. arghhhh!

rather than connecting using a USB u can switch off ur mobile & connetc it to the LAPTOP OR PC and u can use it like a pen drive !!!!

SAMSUNG G600 USB CONNECTION PROBLEM
The Samsung software does not work properly with the G600 (take note Samsung) On your phone go to: Settings>phone settings>USB settings>Ask on connection. exit phone and when you plug in your usb it will ask what connection type, choose Mass Storage and it will appear on My Computer as a portable drive, you can drag and drop to folders. You may have to install the USB drivers from the disc or site, but it may work without.

Sync Samsung G600 with Computer
I had the same probem.
Turn the phone off and then connect it to your usb. I did this and it installed the usb drivers straight away and then everything was good to go.

SAMSUNG G600 USB CONNECTION PROBLEM
What you have to do to put files on your computer or take them from your computer onto your phone is: go onto settings, onto phone settings, onto USB settings and chage it to either mass storage (if you want to put pictures, music and videos on) or media player (to just transfer music). Then plug in the USB cable that came with your phone into your computer/laptop and follow the instructions from there.
NOTE: This only works with the Sampsung G600
