Turn off your computer before trying
get a pair of flat nose pliers or tweezers and place either side of the plastic strip stuck in the usb port gently pull on it until it has moved into its original spot other than that you will need to get a new usb port put in or if there are any other usb ports get a 4 or 5 port usb adapter and use that for your DaneElec 4 GB
hope this helps

My almost new under warrenty galaxy android 10.5 tablet: usb cable end will not fit into the port anyhmore..it used to..is the port hole broken?

Do you have an Android phone?
If so compare the charging ports.
There should be a small plastic bar in the port with connectors on it.

If this bar is missing or damaged, then it would need replacing.
Most phone repair shops can repair this but from past experience it will probably cost between £100 and £200 to repair.

It is NOT covered by warranty unless you have a very helpful staff member from where you bought it.
Samsung usually class this as user damage and will not repair for free.

See picture for the plastic section which may be damaged.

How do I reset the Hawking HWR54G to factor settings - delete passwords and security settings?

Hi,

At the back of your device next to the WAN Port (internet port) you will find a small hole with a button inside it, turn your device off then press and hold the small button in while switching on your device, keep pressing down on the button for about 5 seconds, that will reset your router to default settings.

Keep Moving Forward.

Front panel connectors/jacks is not working

OK--usually what you will find from the front is 3 connectors.
One will be a solid block that has one blank hole which is the key. That will plug into the corresponding pins on the motherboard--usually toward the back of the case.
There will be another other wire that terminates in two plastic connectors. These are the USB connectors. Sometimes the connectors are in two parts. One is a 3-hole and one is a 1-hole. Usually you will find two sets as they sort of go together.
The pin configuration on the motherboard looks like this ::::.
The single pin on the end is not used. The other ones are connected with the plastic connector on the first three starting at the left, with the end marked VCC to the left. The fourth pin is the ground which is usually the separate connector.
The second USB connectors are plugged in right next to the first--so each block of pins controls 2 USB ports.
Hope this helps.

Toshiba satellite r15-S829 has no sound at all

The socket on the motherboard was physical damaged, you can't fix it by your self but component level technician only. so you better buy a USB sound converter to make sound out form USB port of the laptop rather to fix the motherboard.
