Almost any dealer will sell a replacement part for the sailrite. Its a standard type controller, the cost is 40-80 depending on the quality of the controller and cord. Take the machine in the shop and try to be sure its a correct fit. Sailrite has a mail service as well.

How to use thread a Thompson mini walking foot 400

To thread a Thompson mini walking foot 400 sewing machine, follow these steps:
  1. First, make sure that the machine is unplugged and that the presser foot is in the raised position.
  2. Take the thread that you want to use and pass it through the thread guide at the top of the machine.
  3. Bring the thread down to the bobbin winder, and pass it through the tension disc.
  4. Place the bobbin onto the bobbin winder, and hold the end of the thread as you wind the bobbin.
  5. When the bobbin is wound, cut the thread and remove the bobbin from the winder.
  6. Hold the bobbin with the thread facing towards the back of the machine, and insert it into the bobbin case.
  7. Pull the thread through the slot in the bobbin case and bring it up to the top of the machine.
  8. Pass the thread through the thread guide on the take-up lever, and then through the thread guide on the needle bar.
  9. Lower the presser foot, and you are ready to start sewing!
Note: If you are having difficulty threading the machine, refer to the owner's manual for more detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips.

When I plug my Thompson mini walking serwing machine in it's running. How do I turn it off?

Undoi the foot control and you will see a small square thing called a suppressor, take it out because it has probably blown, you do not need to replace it.
