Question about Nortel i2050

I am running Windows 7 professional ver 6.1.7600 build 7600. I am trying to install Nortel i2050 softphone software and it requires to be configured by the configuration tool. The problem is the configuration tool is not loading so I cannot progress further. Any help would be much appreciated Thank you

I am trying to load the CD/DVD Printer for windows ver 1.22 onto my windows7 PC and it tells me that the operating system is not adequate for running CD/DVD printer application.
The software that you have acquired will have a minimum system requirement to run.... this is common to all software and computer equipment.
Perform a web search for the minimum requirements for the software to run...put the name in google or bing and write minimum requirements or system requirements next to it.
It might be that windows 7 is too new or too old
It might be that it only runs on mac or linux OSs

you needed to download window 7 activator from http://cnet.in/ download and run the window loader file and choose your PC brand and then install it... it will run in background... after few seconds the PC will ask you to restart the computer press OK and enjoy your window 7 activated

Hello i have a problem with the nortel i2050 rls 4.2 the instalattion was made ok and start works fine but after a few call the softphone crash and give-me this message on windows Faulting application...

Nortel i2050 doesnt connect for different VISTA users
my i ask you say you are trying to login to the phone why?
when you say you but them on to a new tn did you put both ext back on the same tn

I am trying to install my Professional Sew-Ware Ver. 2.00 onto my new 64 bit computer with Windows 7. It seems that the software installs into the computer, but a message says that it cannot detect the...
The software and indeed the xl-6000 will not work with a 64bit system.I had the same problem.I bought a used laptop 32bit and windows xp and it works perfectly.You can get a serial/usb adapter to use with newer pc that doesn't have serial port,but you still need 32bit system.

Nortel IP soft phone 2050 shows the licensing failure
hello,

you can downgrade to an earlier version that doesn't require a liscense. you probably know that.Try upgrading to the latest (3.02.0045) version.

Check your firewall settings. Make sure you can pass voice traffic. Can you Skype?

Nortel i2050 softphone can't connect to server using Livebox Hi, I have a home network based on ADSL from Orange in France. I have a Livebox (old one, not the new smaller Livebox). I also have taken the option Phone over ADSL from Orange and have the DECT dongle attached to the Livebox, the VoIP service works fine. However, for my work, I also have a Nortel i2050 softphone and this cannot now connect to the IPT server when I am on my home network. If I am in the office, the i2050 works fine, so it is some config in the Livebox, I guess. I am using v3.2 i2050 client. Anyone out there in France or UK had the same issue and managed to solve? Greatly appreciate any direction with this.....

i2050 for agents are getting hanged I have a problem concerning softphone i2050 : After ACD agent login then after a few minute it suddenly log out. It is indicated that the softphone kind a hang and need to be restarted. This condition often happens and makes agents get annoyed causing ineffective work. I have checked the pbx log and it's noted : "Soft reset : rudp retry exhausted, code : 2". Are there any experts find the same problem and have solved, I am looking forward to read the review. Thanks for your attention.
