Help please, I got a message in my new Mavica cd400 for infolithiumbattery only Well thats what I use and its not empty (rest 30 min) The same message when I use my spare np-fm50 battery that full loaded. What can I do? Or do I really have to send it to the (Dutch) sony service center? (Which I hate to do.) Kees

I've come across a few infolithium batteries which show empty but they have been fully charged. It turned out to be the circuitry in the battery which is supposed to tell you how much power is left being faulty. Both were replaced under warranty. When the fault occured in a Sony 505V the battery was still fully useable apart from the icon flashing flat battery.

My sony mavica won't load on win 7 mvc-cd400

Hi,
MVC-CD400 is too old for Windows 7 operating system. This camera works only with Windows XP and Vista.
Check Sony Support after some time (months) for any driver update, if Sony release it.
Thanks.

Sony Mavica MVC-CD400 will not operate under battery power.

Try cleaning the battery contacts in the camera with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

Battery

The new battery may not be an original Sony infolithium type which has internal and interactive circuits. These infolithium types constantly informs you about the battery condition. The only way is to try another battery. Sivaram.V
