Samsung u600 when im typing a text on my phone it freezes and then turns itself off and back on again. I asked someone what the problem could be and they said i needed a software upgrade is this correct, and how do i do this?

I had the same problem. The only thing you can do to fix it, is turn off predictive text.

try a master reset type in *2767*3855# this will retore factory setting all media files stored in phone memory will be lost

restore your phone or do a full EEPROM Reset using this code.*2767*3855# and wait till reboot completely done.be sure to have enough battery life before resetting EEPROM.

Go for a format or flash to reinstall the factory operating software. this will fix it for you.

hi had same problem, one solution is to take off the predictive text. go to write a text and b4 putting text on page, press options, no 7 input method and take off predictive text (Tab), you then have to text the other way which takes longer but at least can use phone, hope this helps

this type of problem is common in many sets.... please can u briefly tell ur problem... while you are typing text quickly then the phone freezes and then turn off.............. will it turn on automatically after 10-20 seconds???

My LG keeps doing that, did you figure out what was wrong with it, I fear a virus...but I haven't found any information on it. I type a couple letters, and it freezes. I call out, and if it connects, I can't hang up, have to pull battery. If I can call out, it freezes within three seconds and restarts itself, while I'm still talking! Can only text if I send animation, letter, animation, letter, animation, letter...takes very long time!

delete your messages and let it cool down 4 a day it happend to mine and its fine
