Return the machine as it's DOA (Dead on Arrival)/ out of box Failure. Best thing you can do or else you will end up with a lemon, and a loss of money.

How do I print wirelessly from my Samsung Note 3 to my HP printer?

Go to the Google Market and download an apps called HP All-in-One Remote and install it in your Samsung Note 3.
Then while your Note 3 and HP Officejet were in the same wi-fi network, your Note 3 should be able to detect the HP printer. Then you could select which documents to print and whether B/W or color.

Cannot connect with hp printer. a red x appears and says that there is a problem with print spooler

Click Start, Devices and Printers, right click on the Pro 8500a icon for your printer. CLick Properties. From there, click the Advanced tab and choose "Print directly to the printer". Click Apply and OK. From there try printing again.

Report if this works.

Hp 8500A won't print if one ink cartridge needs to be replaced

Its simply because the cartridge is not making a good contact with its socket.
1-switch off the printer and totally unplug it 2-clean the cartridge properly
3- check the cartridge clip
4-return cartridge and send a feedback to us

HI Linda: Your manuals should be available here. There is a Getting Started Guide and a Setup Poster currently available.

A number of the available downloads including the diagnostic tools have recently been updated. In absence of a more lengthy printed manual you might consider ensuring you have the most up to date versions installed.

Go to Software & Driver Downloads, select your operating sysytem and a list of available downloads for your printer and operating system will open.

If you do not know your operating sysytem, i.e. 32-bit vs. 64-bit, open Control Panel, click on System and check under System Type.

If your printer was purchased in a country other than the USA you might consider looking on the HP site for the country of purchase.
