Your washer uses cold water only for the rinse cycle.
Start you washer and put the water temperature switch on 'cold' to see if you have any cold water.
If you find that there is no cold water then turn the water off and remove the cold water hose from the back of the washer.
Once you have the cold water hose removed you will be able to look in the water valve and check the screen. A lot of times the screens get plugged up and need to be cleaned. The screen will just pull out of the valve so you can rinse it out good.
Make sure to put the screen back in place.
If you have no cold water and the screen is clean then you will need to replace the water inlet valve.

If the washer won't drain there might be a clogged pump or hose. It's common for small socks or other small clothing items to get into the water drain system and clog the hose leading to the pump or the pump itself. Remove the hoses from the pump in order to remove the article of clothing.

I have a Maytag washer and the tub will fill but won't agitate the clothes. You can hear clicking noises but the knob continues forward. He drains, rinses and spins at the end of the cycle.

When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. Its sounds like you have a siphon going on, this happens when the drain hose it too low during fill and as the water enters the unit it exits through the drain hose. To stop this the drain hose needs to be higher than the tub itself, meaning: raise the drain hose behind the washer to about control panel area. This will or should stop the siphon effect and allow the water to remain in the tub. If the drain hose is low this siphon will start again.

quite possible that the fuse has gone bad again, if that s the case i would recommend replacing the fuse, and the lid switch.

maytag washer dryer stack unit , model # lse7806ace washer fills with water but won't agitate or do anything else. I had the same problem a year ago and replace the lid switch asssemby and fuse and it worked fine until now. the switch clicks when I open and close the lid and the pink and orange wires show continuity with the lid closed.
