With P, A, S, M, mode, (set using the exposure mode dial) the following four modes can be selected to suite the image. Vivid color is to be selected to produce more vivid image than the natural colored image (default), Black and white is to produce monochrome image in black and white, and Sepia is to be if it should be the sepia tone. Also, they can be selected in the movie recording.*The color mode of the saved images cannot be changed. They should be selected before recording. *Automatic Digital Subject Program and AUTO can not select them. (natural color only)

Using Automatic Picture Settings
Your TV has Three automatic picture settings ("Dynamic", "Standard", "Movie") that are preset at the factory.
You can activate either Dynamic, Standard, Movie by making a selection from the menu.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the ENTER button, to select "Picture".
2. Press the ENTER button to select "Mode".
Press the ??² or ??¼ buttons to select the "Dynamic", "Standard", "Movie" picture
setting. Press the ENTER button.
?³ Choose Dynamic to increase the clarity and sharpness of the picture.
?³ Choose Standard for the standard factory settings.
?³ Choose Movie for a natural Image without picture enhancements.
3. Press the ??² or ??¼ buttons to select "Contrast", "Brightness", "Sharpness",
"Color", or "Tint(G/R)", then press the ENTER button.
4. Press the ??? or ??? buttons to decrease or increase the value of a particular item.
For example, if you select "Contrast", pressing the ??? button increases it.
Press the ENTER button.
Press the EXIT button to exit.
• When you make changes to Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color, Tint(G/R)
the OSD will be adjusted accordingly.
• When in PC mode, Tint, Sharpness, and Color are not available.
Press the P.MODE button on the remote control repeatedly to select the desired
picture mode.

Hi, Here is the procedure on how to play the video clip on your camera. Play mode If you have turned on the camera by pressing the POWER button, you can press the PLAY MODE button once to switch to Play mode and press it again to switch to Recording mode. You can turn the power on with the play mode button. The camera is turned on in play mode. Press the play mode button again and the camera will be turned off. You can set up the PLAY mode function by using the camera buttons and LCD
monitor. Playing back a still image
1. Select the PLAY mode by pressing the play mode button.
2. The last image stored on the memory is displayed on the LCD monitor.
3. Select the recorded movie clip and press the Play & Pause button to play back.

Is the scene mode different from the movie mode?

The movie mode records videos. The scene mode lets you select from different modes for still pictures.

HOW TO USE THE CAMERA

Hi Sonali,

To record movie clips first of all press the menu button, this will refelect the shooting menu of your camera, select the first option of shooting modes by the navigating keys circling the menu/ok button. Then press the right arrow on the navigating keys, this will open the modes of shooting. Generaly while first use always AUTO is selected, you may scroll up to select the movie mode and then press ok button. Now you are ready to record clips. Click on the shutter button (picture button on the top of the camera) to start recording clips and when you are done re-click to stop recording.

Multiple pictures

Dear ACO107,
Please turn on Cyber-shot in camera mode and press Menu, select Mode, select Normal, OR got to Camera Mode Selection Button (top of camera near power button) and select Auto (Green Color) symbol. Problem would be solved.
