If the fan spins and you find there is power going to it, then likely the electronic drive circuit has failed. You can get replacement fans at stores like Fry's and other sources.

My hp laptop pavillion dv3 video card over heat, then shot down but cooling fan is working properly! what is the solution to these trouble?

the cooling fan in a laptop is mostly for keeping the whole system cool unless you have a custom vid card installed. make sure the vents underneath are clean and invest in a fan for the laptop. I got one on e-bay for less than $10 and have seen them at Wal-Mart for $14. an external fan is your choice I haven't had any problems since I got one for mine

HI, my coolermaster laptop cooler, the U2 with 2 optional fans have been acting loud. only one fan has been acting up. it makes loud noises while the other one is silent. like a grating noise kind of. cant...

Sounds like the fan is going out. I would take it back to the store and swap it for a new one. Alternatively, if you decide to keep it you can try to put a drop of 3-in1 oil in the center of the fan to prolong and/or fix the noisy fan.

Is it alroght to use this fan on an AMD Phenom X4 9450e Quad core Processor? Is is adquate?

It will work but I'd personally not use it as a long term prospect. Given the cpu you have, I'd buy a better spec model with more comprehensive cooling

My Cuisinart CWC1600 Wine Cooler has stopped running. Any thoughts. Thanks

The hayni made in china internal power supply has faulty tranformers on it that fail within anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Solution. Remove the back panel, take out the internal power supply and replace it with another compatible AC 120v to 12v DC 5amp power supply. Often laptop power adapters will work. I used this one: 60w-12v-5A-AC-DC-Power-Adapter from the website mini-box and it only cost 15 dollars. The peltier pad draws upwards of 5amps, but the rest of the system is super lower power. Now my wine cooler is more energy efficient and and will run for at least 5-10 years. This power supply replacement takes about 20 minutes. You need: philips screw driver, wire cutter and stripper, two 16 guage wire nuts. That's it.

My refrigerator stopped cooling even though it is runing

By running I assume you are saying the compressor (underneath the refrigerator) is running.

You should also make certain that: (1) the compressor fan (near the compressor near the back of the refrigerator) is running; (2) that the refrigerant coils are clean; and (3) that the evaporator fan (inside the refrigerator, likely behind an access plate) is running.

Is it normal for my laptop to blow hot air from the blower fan and doing some noise every 20-30 seconds?

Not sure which laptop you have but this it is common for this to occur. The noise is the internal cooling fan coming on and this is why you get hot air coming out. In warm conditions some laptops have their fans on all the time.
