Can i add a coin machine to a Kenmore washer, model# 28432700?

will be a coin or 5 has bashed around the pump
and cracked the housings

looks to me that you have eather coins, yes,coins traped in the electric water pump mostly a quarter blocking the inlet of pump or a piece or clothing from the hose that comes from the bottom of the OUTER TUB to the PUMP. if not you may have a faulty pump.

See the following Whirlpool Service Manual for their Cabrio washer. The Sears / Kenmore Oasis is basically the same machine so the procedures for pulling the basket should be the same.

Three times we have had problems with our drain pump and coins making it through. Once the coins made a hole in the intake hose. The last two times the coins went through the pump and the impact cracked the pump housing causing a flood in our laundry room. The sevrvice man advised there was no solution to the coin problem other than making sure you check your pockets thoroughly.

There is no screen! I bet it was a dime that was caught in the pump. It has happened to me several times to the point where we double check all pockets when loading washer. Coins larger than a dime stay in drum or in lower basket. Poor design! I now leave the back of washer loosened and have mastered pulling hose off the PLASTIC pump housing and reaching in to pull out the coin.
