Well we think that the motor inside of the console that spins the disc's is shot now so you should buy a wii because wii's are better than gamecubes are and you can still play gamecube games on a wii too. Because i play gc games on a wii then.

The cds wont read

Sounds like the laser has gone bad. The disc won't spin until the laser focuses on the disk, then the disk will spin.

It wont spin the disk i put disks in it and it wont read

Hi...
There's a plastic post on the underside of the Lid ( if you dont find one there ,it's broken off)..Thats the disk brake post. When you close the lid it moves the brake out of the way allowing the disk to spin

If the post is ok, clean the laser lens ( gently with a cotton swab)

Sony psp

have you tried various disks? certan disks may either be scratched or dusty so you coul take a can of compressed air and ust out both some umd's and the umd tray of the psp. also, if you're usuing a custom firmware, you may find it will work once you revert to an official firmware

Aiwa 3 disk CX-NMT 70 MODEL SPINS A FEW TIMES ON EACH DISC..wont play at all..What can I do? Thanks!!

This can be fixed by adjusting the POT on the rear side of the laser. My Aiwa had the same issue and there is an orange screw on the rear of the laser. Turn it about 1/16 - 1/8 turn COUNTER clockwise.

Please understand, this is a temporary fix, and will eventually ruin your laser mechanism completely. The company is out of business and the unit is 10 years old, so I didn't much care...perhaps I will run across a CD assembly I can replace it with, but this is a temporary fix for this issue.
