First thngs first, make sure knob is turned to 2, then make sure there is water in the boiler, then turn machine to 0, remove back panel and reset thermostat on top of back boiler, if your machine has that feature installed. Then turn machine to 2, open one of the steam wands, If within 10 minutes boiler does get hot or there is no water bubbles, from steam wand, then the pressure stat might be damaged and needs to be replaced.
Look at the bottom of the tank they have a red valve or a plug. Once is off and cool down, Open the valve or remove the plug. Open the steam valve (to allow the air in)to speed up the process.
For the element to burst, the machine has to be devoid of water, Do you have a reset thermostat on the steam boiler, if no then it would be wist to get one put in to protect the element. Next, check the flow from the filter, is it restricted, if it is find out from which cartridge and replace. Next, the level probe might be set too low, lift the probe another 1/2 to 1 inch. Remove the safety valve, turn the machine to 1(fill) and lift the probe so that the water level is above the element. If the machine does not have off-fill-on(3 position switch) then that could be the brunt of your problems. Next make sure the inlet solenoid is filling the machine, you will know be removing the wire on the probe and the machine will start filling.
Check the thermostat on the top of the back boiler, if the red pin is up then, make sure that there is water in the boiler then push in pin and turn machine on. Now comes the exciting part we have to find out why the boiler overheated, is it because the elements are damaged or the pressure stat is not working properly.
that noice is from your solenoid valve during brewing coffe.
as first you should clean the group with blind filter and special detergent for washing coffe from group. if you didnt do this long time you should repeat the cleaning 3 - 5 times same day.
if you follow the 1st instruction but you have the problem again you should change your solenoid valve.
