To the person who originally asked: "I need a manual for the Black & Decker Pocket Power." I have done extensive searching for this same manual online ,and have failed. What I ended up doing was looking up sites that had the Pocket Power for sale and/or reviewed the B&D Pocket Power. I then copied and pasted the info I needed into a MS Word document and created my own set of instructions. I hesitate to provide you with direct links as they can change, become defunct, etc. In addition, I am at a loss as to why the previous "helpers" provided info about a cooking appliance instead of the Pocket Power.

It sounds like your charger is not charging your batteries. Since it is brand new, you might want to return it to the store where you bought it.

The red light means it needs charging - some will come on while it is charging - but it should be green when fully charged.

Your charger should have a green or red light visable when fully charge if not i suggest leave it charging overnight that should give you plenty of power to do your yard the next day.

Hello. Use an ordinary extension cord and plug it into the back of the light and into the wall. Charge it for 20-30 hours, but not more than 30 hours. Here is the downloadable manual for future reference

I went to the Black & Decker site and downloaded the pdf manual of the electromate 400. It says you're supposed to charge it until you have one red light, one yellow light, and one green light. I expect that 2 red lights and a green light means it's not fully charged. The manual also said you can't overcharge using the 120 V. method. Good luck.

You cannot charge the laptop via the USB port.

check the factory date.. the batt might be bad due to time, check the polarity conexion to the batt might inverse. i suggest u try another batt..
