I set a security code in my Nokia 3110c; but my friend had incorrectly typed in the code for more than 10 times, perhaps. And when i was entering my code (real one), the phone won't accept it anymore. i tried the default code 12345, and it didn't work either. it keeps saying, "security code incorrect". is there a master security code for Nokia devices? how can i reset my security code, and have my phone working again, without having the messages, or any files deleted? Please help.. Thanks! :)

Try to leave it without any power for a few minutes..remove the battery ..and after that plug it back and power it up ...If the code is asked just enter teh correct code and see if it works ..If it is a pin code..it may being asking for the puk code..and that one you have to get it from the provider ..but if it is just a security one ..from the phones feature it may work ...removing the battery makes it forget the date and time ..and this will make it let you insert the code again ..Usually when you insert he wrong code too many times it will be locked for a while ...

    Thanks, Sir. unfortunately, it still didn't work. i forgot to note that i as well tried doing it, since that was the same thing that happened to my Nokia 1200, which i am currently using now. i haven't been able to use my Nokia 3110c for more than a month now. so bad.. :(

    In this case you have to re-soft it ..or have it unlock with a professional tool or on a site using the imei number..or contact your service provider ..

Reset security code 3110c
security code has nothing to do with IMEE number. A word of caution if you try to change security code 3 times your puk will be blocked and you won't be able to use your sim for anything. Nokia keeps security code as 0000 So just go to settings and then security and when prompted give 0000 if it accepts well and good you get the option of change security pin change it to desiered pin. if not don't try to change your code or else your PUK will be blocked and you will have to make a long call to your customer care from your friends mobile.
