When ever i turn on the car the screen pops out but nothing comes up on screen.. just blank. but when i push the close button, while its closing the screen turns on. please help
MOST SCREENS R NOT ON IN THERE RESTING STATE, THERE USUALLY A MECHANISM THAT TURNS THE SCREEN OPEN WHEN IT OPENS, TRY SLIGHTLY PUSHING THE SCREEN BACK LIGHTLY TO SEE IF IT COMES ON HOWEVER IF U CAN RESET IT , TRY THAT IF THAT DOESN,T IT WOULD HAVE TO BE REPAIRED FROM THE MANUFACTURE

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.
The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.
I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.
If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

IF you sidekick 3 screen is blank then the lcd needs to be replaced. Replacing the Sidekick 3 LCD screen is pretty easy and cost about 25 dollars if you buy it from ebay.
Your honeywell should have battery back up but the primary power for this is a 24 volt transformer located in the air handler probably in your attic. All these controls run on 24 volts
