THE DIAGRAM IS ON THE HHOD ON UNDERSIDE OR ACCROSS THE FRONT TOP OF RADIATOR. THEIR IS A BELT TENSONER THAT LOOKS LIKE A ARM COMEING DOWN WITH A PULLY ON IT. PUT A SOCKET ON THE PULLY AND EITHER PUSH FORWAR OR PULL BACK AND IT WILL MOVE TO ALLOW THE NEW BELT TO GO ON. WHEN YOU LET GO IT KEEPS TENSON ON THE BELT.

not true, Huseyin.! at all.
OP: (original poster)
J18 engine. FWD. application. USA setup
with COP coils x4 (DIS ignition?)
our Esteems started in 1999....
other countries have them too, but use totally different spark (distributor) and Im not answering for THAT, only USA EPA spec. engines.
some othere countries, has a Mazda. 1.8L BP.
answering for J18 only.
the J18 is an understoked, J20. (early engine)
good to know for parts swaps !

OP backup and read your first post.on same topic.
the answer is there, too.
facing engine, crank pulley on left
see that head, see the front cam,
this cam has the CMP drive (left side,) or right facing engine) the cam drives it directly.
so... is just there.

why? not scan the PCM and see if you have P0340 errors = CMP misfiring..... (even 1 in 10)
and the prev. post has the real diagram....
cmp mount is here.

the part is also shown at the online suzuki parts pages.

How To Replace The Serpentine Belt on Suzuki Esteem?

wow, no year stated !
there are 2 engines. the 1.6L G16B SOHC is yours?. and has a belt , the 1.8L is a chain, so what engine does it have? the 1.8L is DOHC, chain motor.
the G16, is used in the sidekick (and geo trackers)
here is the side kick page, us it and the esteem G16b book and you will see hints.
the only hard part is the Esteem makes repairs very hard. FWD.

http://www.fixkick.com/t-belt/16-fast-belt-install.html
use a Gates belt , not china clone no name and win.
the above his lots of noob hints, or may tell you, let the pro do it.
