You might need to have your cooling system bled, to get all the air out of it. That gurgling is probably just air being pushed in to the overflow tank. Not to much to worry about though.

Got a gurgling noise every now and then seems to be coming from the engine

Sounds like you may have trapped air in the water system if so needs bled....or the water is going into your overflow tank or back into the radiator...That should happen only when the engine heat is a little higher then normal causing the radiator cap to open and allowing the pressure to push the expanded water into the overflow tank..if you are not experiencing over heating problem then...My bet is your radiator cap is getting weak..have it checked and changed...if necessary.good luck...

Why does my montero cooing system makes gurgling noise

In many cases of gurgling cooling system, you have a possible head gasket problem starting and the combustion from the engine is pressurizing the cooling system. Check your cooling system thoroughly for evidence of a possible blown head gasket.
Are you loosing cooling system water?
Is your radiator overflow tank being pressurized excessively by the engine. Headgasket problems can sometimes put some much pressure in that overflow tank that it begins to bulge outward.
Check the oil and look for any white/greyish milk shake consistency fluid on the oil fill cap or on the radiator cap. Keep a close eye on your oil and water levels if your gurgling sound continues. This is not normal and again, usually is a sign that there is a possible leak between the headgasket and a water jacket on the head.
Did you overheat the vehicle anytime soon? This will many times breech a head gasket between water jackets and begin spraying water in small amounts right into the engine cylinders, while it pressurizes the cooling system and makes gurgling noises.

Cannot locate cold fill line on impala 2008 coolant overflow tank

Just fill it up 1/4 full with coolent. Coolent expands when hot, which will fill the tank up more, so don't over fill too much. If you think your low on coolent, let the engine cool down, and open the radiator cap and fill it full from there. Filling the tank, will not add ANY coolent to the radiator untill it warms up (expands) and cools down (contracts pulling in coolent from the tank only at this moment.)

Can a broken radiator cap cause a 2005 honda to overheat

well... your radiator cap should fit properly so start there. If that doesn't work the next step would be to change the radiator valve which should have been done when you changed the radiator... but if they gave you a cap that doesn't fit, why should they do anything else right. You can also change the tempeture valve going into the engine... it may be recording wrong. good luck

Pushes coolent out through expantion tank, acts like it has air bubble even after the car warms up

This is generally a clear sign of a head gasket leaking, or a cracked head/cylinder wall.

Sometimes, in the beginning stages, just a stuck thermostat causing overheating will cause the overflow tank to fill if boiling occurs, but that's generally not seen in a cool engine.

The engine compression going through the leak, pushes air into the cooling system, forcing the fluid out through the overflow tank, or radiator overflow tube.

Good luck with your repair.

04 sebring gurgling engine

I expect you are getting air into the system, probably due to low coolant level which is probably caused by the leak. You need to get the leak fixed as soon as possible, and in any case, keep the overflow tank full.

99 cadillac deville engine overheating an loosing coolent couple times a day.Replaced thermostat, water pump ok, cooling fans on at 217deg.,radiator pressure tested an holding pressure.engine still keeps...

Check to see if you have flow through the entire radiator. If part of the radiator core is cool to the touch when the engine is at operating temp, this indicates restricted radiator flow. If the entire radiator core is not allowing water to flow through, cooling will not be at all efficient. Also a good idea would be to purchase a block tester. available at napa and other reputable parts houses for around thirty dollars. You remove a small amount of coolant, and put the tool in the radiator, or pressure tank opening. If there are any combustable gasses present, i'e' exhaust, this would indicate a head gasket breech, (or maybe worse) and would indicate that it's time to stop looking for a simple problems, and get proffessional help. Good luck to you!

Hello: There are two metal pipes on the back of the engine thar carry the coolant from the driver side of the engine to the heater core and back to the engine. It is possible they may be rusted out. Also it could be head gasket failure, When it comes out check the coolant overflow tank on the passenger side under the hood and see/hear if it is gurgling. The overflow tank hose may be stopped up or it could be the wrong radiator cap. Hope this will give you a place to start. The radiator cap should be rated at 15psi
