Hello,To get the door open and salvage your dinner, take a long thin blade ( I used a frosting spreader) and insert from the bottom between the door and the oven frame on the side with the latches (usually next to the control panel). You may have to pry the bottom of the door open just a bit. The object is to push up the lower door latch (which is connected to the upper door latch) and manually open the door. You may have to try a few times but this worked perfectly for me and saved dinner. Obviously the door latch needs to be repaired but this solves the immediate problem of dinner being held hostage by a recalcitrant microwave.
wish you good luck,
take care.
Hello & Welcome to FixYa
I believe as the fuse is fine and everything works fine so the problem is with the door switch that is bad and needs replacement. If you want you can test the switch before replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Likely this part failed because the door hinges have got a bit out of line, allowing the door to
drop slightly, so the catch mechanism won't quite disengage. So, your part has broken or slipped out of place.
Unplug the unit and
remove the cover. If the latch has popped out of the slot
you can put it back, you will have to open the door to do this, just
lift on the door hooks and you can open it, or replace it. Try to find this part replcement in this link repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Open-Lever
NOTE: In any case, don't touch the capacitor, 20000 volts there and can kill you.
Hope this helps.

I have the door open, that was never my problem. I can manually open it from inside just fine when I take the panel off. The inner workings do not appear broken at all.
I have never had a problem getting the door open. I can open it just fine with the key panel removed. All parts inside appear to be unbroken to me.
The part you referenced is there and appears to be ok but it fails to pushup high enough to trigger the door release unless that is what you are referring to as what slipped out of place. Is there a diagram somewhere that shows where that piece slides into?
Can you explain how the part "fits in" to the door latch. If I use my finger it pops open just fine.
